Q&A: GBMC Doctors Discuss Heat Wave


Hot women?
After a couple of days to three digits, AccuWeather said.

What is the best way to  heat exhaustion or heat stroke be prevented?
Drink plenty of fluids and replace salts and minerals, providing clothing and sunscreen. Try to limit outdoor activities carefully planned in the morning and early evening. N  you forget the pace when working or exercising in the heat and  inside as long as possible. Try  use a  Buddy System , which essentially means that friends and neighbors regularly to check each other at extreme temperatures.

How do you know if someone  one suffers heat exhaustion or heat stroke and what to do if you sign up?
The biggest difference between heat stroke and  heat exhaustion testhomerseklet differences of over 40 degrees Celsius heat stroke (104 degrees Fahrenheit), against less than 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees) at stroke heat. Symptoms are usually worse case  insolation. Heat stroke can develop heat stroke.
Symptoms associated with  heat exhaustion also: strong perspiration, paleness, muscle cramps, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, headache and nausea or vomiting
It can be found in warmer regions, and wine , Red Hot  and dry. Rapid strong pulse, confusion and loss of consciousness, some of the signs / symptoms.
Sunstroke in a medical emergency and immediate medical help should be sought. Meanwhile, put the victim in a cool and shaded, and soak in a bath  testhomerseklet cold water when you cool. Do not give the victim fluids to drink if the person is unconscious.

What to do in case of heat stroke: Stay cool and drink plenty of fluids and  electrolytes, like Gatorade or found in fruit juices. Take a u200b u200bkoude shower, go to an environment of  air and s  ensure that the clothing is too light.
When very hot outside, as this week, how many  water for drinking, and what further action to take?
A warm welcome, l  fluid intake should be increased, regardless of  activity and thirst. Drink 2-4 glasses (16-32 grams) cold fluids each hour. No, it  n  is not sure! Never leave baby  s and children (or pets!) A parked car, even if the windows are broken open when the temperature rises to 20 degrees in the car for the first 10 minutes.
What can be prepared the next heat wave?
Make sure you stay informed and  listen to local weather feeds. Learn more about the symptoms of heat disorders and overexposure to sunlight, and is ready to give first aid if necessary!
Use common sense and make sure you drink enough, s  dress in loose, lightweight clothing. Limit  sun exposure during midday and in places like the beach, where  exposure can be serious!
