Three vehicles involved in the accident and four people were injured, said Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman. The wounds were not fatal, and the four men were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center.
A minibus carrying a family returning from a vacation, went to the tracks east of the lower rate when truck rear-ended 11:30, said Coleman. The minivan overturned, hit a vehicle in front of him and landed on the truck.
Three people were injured in a minibus and the driver of the truck was damaged, said Coleman. The accident remains under investigation.
